Board of directors
The Comité sectoriel de main-d’œuvre de l’industrie des mines (CSMO Mines) is a non-profit organization founded under Part 3 of the Québec Companies Act. Its operations are managed by a board of directors, an executive committee, and a management group supported by a permanent team.
The board of directors sets the committee’s guidelines and intervention parameters and establishes the action plan. There are 21 directors serving on the board, 8 from industry, 8 from labour associations, and 5 from various provincial ministries (MELS, MESS, and MERN), as well as from the Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MiHR) and the Québec Mineral Exploration Association (AEMQ). The CSMO Mines general manager is also a non-voting member of the board of directors.
The executive committee is responsible for a more systematic implementation of the action plan. It has 8 members, the majority of whom are representatives of companies and labour associations. Executive committee members are identified with an asterisk (*) in the list below.
